"Just last year, CI Holdings and PepsiCo inked an unprecedented exclusive bottling agreement, which renewed the franchise bottling rights of Permanis for another 10 years.

“We believe PepsicCo is likely to approve the deal. Major shareholders Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani [archives.thestar.com.my], Sisma Group [archives.thestar.com.my] and Continental Theme collectively own 60.4% of CI Holdings, which further increases the chances of the deal going through although some risks remain,” OSK Research said in a report on Friday."

14:22.. serang water canon dgn botol air mineral kosong???

16:20 - pegang belakang pun dikatakan membantu naik landrover.. hahaha

34:00 - 36:00 kat Avenue K org lari sebab polis kejar kat luar tu kat luar....(banyak video kat youtube tunjuk orang lari bila polis kejar di KLCC. Cuba search youtube "KLCC bersih") bukan takut pintu ditutup... kerana shutter pintu tu tak ditarik ke bawah lagi untuk ditutup... - shutter masih tinggi lagi... Tangan Allahyarham kat lengan kanan, bukan dada kerana akibat swing tangan beliau semasa berlari, bukannya dia pegang dada kerana sakit dada/jantung.

52:39 - Suhardi -" key player utk bangkit semangat provokasi peserta bersih".

Bersih 2.0 : The Economist kena sensor

Malaysiakini melaporkan bahawa sebuah artikel didalam majalah The Economists yang bertajuk "Political affray in Malaysia : Taken to the cleaners" telah disensor dengan dihitamkan beberapa bahagian. (Artikel penuh didalam bahasa Melayu).

.....and one man died of a heart attack. (perenggan pertama)

The march itself was then banned, although the authorities offered Bersih a stadium to meet in - and then withdrew the offer (perenggan kedua
The heavy-handed police tactics have provoked a lot of anger; the government has conceded an official investigation into claims of police brutality. In one instance (caught on film), police seemed to fire tear gas and water cannon into a hospital where protesters were sheltering from a baton charge. (perenggan keempat)

UMNO : "is rotten to the core"

Tun Dr. Mahathir pernah berkata "UMNO is rotten to the core"

Bersih 2.0 : Najib, Hishamuddin, IGP,DIGP and UMNO pecacai... watch this... "Truth that cannot be covered"

Najib, Hishamuddin, IGP, DIGP... watch this video... you can lie in this world ... but you cannot lie in front of Allah in the afterlife!!!

Bersih 2.0 :Cara BN membuat penipuan pilihanraya.

'Have more professionals as EC commissioners'
Jul 8, 11 6:34pm

Compared to other commissions, the composition of commissioners of the Election Commission is seen as not being independent as it is mainly comprised of retired civil servants.

Calling for more professionals and eminent people from all levels of society to be part of its line-up, election watchdog Malaysians for Free and Fair Elections (Mafrel) said this would help ensure the transparency and independence which are needed for the commission to be relevant.

Mafrel also called for the laws on the EC to be reviewed or amended to reflect this and to increase the composition to include more independent-minded people in it.

syed ibrahim syed nohMafrel chairperson Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh (right) said at present, the EC commissioners are appointed by the Agong on the advice of the minister.

“Hence, the appointment and composition are not seen as being independent and may lack the professionalism necessary for such an important and transparent task. Ideally, one of the commissioners must have a legal background or be a respected former judge,” he said.

Syed Ibrahim was asked to comment on the composition of the EC's eight commissioners who mainly consist of retired civil servants and do not have a legal background.

NONEEC chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof (left) started off as a statistician, but is better known as a former secretary-general of the Home Ministry. His previous posts included being state secretary to Malacca and Singapore. His deputy Wan Ahmad Wan Omar is a former diplomat and had held the post of EC secretary between 1998 and 2004.

Kamaruddin Mohamed Baria, the EC secretary, is also a former diplomat and chief administrator of the parliament, while fellow panel members Jamdin Buyong was a former assistant editor in a daily and a former press secretary to the Sabah chief minister; while Zainal Abidin Mat Said was a former district officer and Pahang state secretary.

Another panellist, Mohamad Ramji Alli, was a former Sarawak Kemas director and has been a panel member since 2000; Dr P Manogran was a former secretary-general of the Human Resources Ministry; and Christopher Wan Soo Kee was a former Special Branch officer and former Malacca and Penang police chief.

Syed Ibrahim said looking at the background of the panellists and commissioners highlights what he had suspected all along.

“The commission should have people trusted by the majority of the rakyat. However at present this does not happen,” he said.

“The composition does not reflect the true independent nature which is needed by the EC for it to be seen as transparent for people to exercise their democratic rights,” he said.

Stuffed ballot box, ‘clone voters’ found

Even as the nation closely follows the tug-of-war between Bersih 2.0 and the government over the rally for reforms, more flaws have been exposed in the electoral system.

The latest allegations include a case in the Sarawak election in mid-April where the number of ballots cast at one polling centre exceeded the total number of registered voters there.

The second complaint was about cases of ‘clone’ voters who have the same name but a different MyKad number and voting address.

Malaysian Election Observation Network (MEO-Net) coordinator Ong Boon Keong, who was stationed in Sarawak throughout the campaign period to monitor the election, said the first case was found at SK Pasai Siong Tengah in the rural constituency of Tamin.

The electoral roll published by the Election Commission (EC) showed that the polling centre has 236 registered voters.

BN candidate Joseph Mauh Ikeh polled 251 votes, while PKR candidate Mengga Mikui secured 53 votes. Their joint tally of 304 votes exceeded the total on the electoral roll by 68.

“We demand that the EC investigates and rectifies the result,” said Ong who suspects that the ballot boxes were stuffed.

“We detected it in this polling centre only because the number of ballots cast exceeded the number of registered voters.

“Ballot boxes may have been stuffed elsewhere in the constituency but the number would have been within the registered total. As such, we were not able to detect manipulation.”

Ong also pointed out that the average voter turnout statewide was 70 percent in this election.

However, Tamin recorded 72.6 percent when the normal turnout was less than the 70 percent for rural seats.

Joseph Mauh obtained a total of 4,998 votes to win the seat with a 1,292-majority over Mengga, who finished with 3,706 votes in the predominantly Iban area.

However, Ong said an official complaint has yet to be filed with the EC as a full report is still being compiled.

Malaysiakini attempted to contact Sarawak EC but was told the state director will only be available next week.

After the election campaign, MEO-Net had alleged that Joseph Mauh had bought votes, but he argued that the RM50 payout was ‘transport allowance‘ to encourage voters to cast their ballots.

Double identity discovered
The second flaw in the electoral system was raised by PKR Indera Mahkota MP Azan Ismail at a press conference on Monday in Kuantan.

He said that, after an hour-long check of the EC online system, he and his colleagues found more that 60 individuals with a double identity in the electoral roll.

According to the information he obtained, the names appeared twice in the electoral roll with the same old identity card (IC) number but with a different MyKad number and address.

Some of the names appeared in varying formats, such as ‘N Punniamoorthy A/L A Nadarajan’ and ‘N Puniamoorthy’.

“The electoral roll now shows that they are eligible to vote twice. Most of the ‘clone’ identities are registered in different polling localities but in the same constituency,” he told Malaysiakini yesterday.

“We don’t know whether these ‘clone voters’ have two MyKads with different numbers but obviously there is something seriously wrong.”

Malaysiakini verified Azan’s allegation by checking the EC online system, using the old IC number and MyKad number of individuals whose names were provided by Azan.

He claimed that many more people had approached him after the irregularities were reported, which raised the total number of ‘clone voters’ to more than 100.

“EC should admit there are problems with the electoral system and make a commitment to resolve these before the next general election,” he added.

Kenapa perlu BERSIH 2.0 : Import/phantom voters, an UMNO/BN - SPR joint venture job?

Inilah sebab kenapa kita perlukan BERSIH 2.0.

Import/phantom voters, an UMNO/BN - SPR joint venture job?

During 1999 general election, one of my friend who's parents are PAS supporters from Serdang discovered that he was supposed to vote in Klang, the place where he's not familiar with. So because of this he cannot vote during the election. Some of my friends at the University also discovered that their names are missing from the list that they check the previous week, and they too cannot vote. One of my friend at my hometown too discovered that his name is also missing from the electoral list and these people are young voters. There were also cases being reported that many people got transferred to vote at places thay had not been reached such as people from selangor found themself as voters in Kedah and they had never been to Kedah.

I too discovered that my name was missing one year after 1999 general election which I voted for the first time at my hometown (according to the address of my IC). Eventhough my parents are UMNO people, but I voted for PAs during the election. I feared that somebody knew of which party i voted that my name had gone missing after the election. but I had reregistered back.

Utusan malaysia 27/04/1999 had a news about PAs allegation that people (PAS supporters) being transferred in masses to other location without their knowledge so that they cannot vote. You can read the news at http://www.utusan.com.my/utusan/archive.asp?y=1999&dt=0427&pub=utusan_malaysia&sec=dalam%5Fnegeri&pg=hn_04.htm&arc=hive

Then after Pendang/Anak Bukit election, there was a case where one PAs supporters from Pendang found his name registered in Perak with a wiered address. http://daftar.spr.gov.my/?nokp=291025025363&nama=JUSOH+BIN+LEBAI+SULAIMAN+

Then, during 1999 general election too there was some allegation that some wierd IC number had pop up from SPR's daftar.spr.gov.my such as 999999999999, A0000000 which is impossible and 0000005,0000010, 0000012 to 0000019 and siblings who were born in different years but have a serialize IC number. (I still have those search result which I saved from SPR's website). At that time the SPR's Semakan Daftar Pemilih 2001 home page at daftar.spr.gov.my still only requires user to give their IC number only. Now we have to give full name in capital letters. Maybe to discourage people to randomely check for suspicious IC number as what happened during the 1999 general election. There was an allegation too that in Kubang Pasu (Dr. Mahathir's area) there was a serialized IC number in the voters list with wierd birth date - around 5000 names if I'm not mistaken.

during Indera Kayangan by-election, we can see that more that 700 postal votes are counted in Kangar but in the same time, the number of police personnel in Kangar is a lot less than 700. 700 can be the number of police personnel in Perlis, not Kangar alone and of course all policemen in Perlis do not resides in Kangar or Kampung Bakau to be more specific. I Guar Syed Alwi which in 1999 general election was won by opposition, suddently was won by BN i the by-election

Then we got the Likas phantom voters court case, the Sungai siput case, the Lunas case mand many more which is not reported as there is not strong enough proof.

From what I've mentioned above, we can find that opposition/PAS supporters did being transfered to other location.. but not to make opposition/PAS win the seat, but to make tham unable to vote, thus making opposition/PAs to lose in many areas. Names too gone missing especially those who are identified as opposition supporters. Then there are people with wierd address or wierd IC number too in the electoral list produced by SPR especially during 1999 general election. these kind of tactic only benefited the BN/UMNO, not the opposition/PAS, thus the one who are responsible for the phantom voters are the BN/UMNO. then BN/UMNO through SPR had made a plan to legally transfer their voters (importing voters) to areas controlled by PAS using the proposed electoral redelineation as mentioned by PAS' Kedah commissioner Azizan Abdul Razak as

“During the seminar we anticipated that there would be redelineation and true enough our suspicions were correct. In working towards victory, we advised that if a change of electoral boundaries takes place, PAS members should relocate to follow the new boundary.

“For example, the three state seats Langgar, Bukit Lada and Tanjung Seri were under the Pokok Sena parliament. But now Tanjung Seri has been relocated under the Alor Setar parliamentary constituency. So we advise our members to shift to Alor Setar to continue their activities. That is all and not as alleged by Umno" http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/200209050017187.php

if the SPR had been sabotaged as aledged by Kementerian Dalam Negeri deputy minister, Datuk Zainal Abidin Zin, then UMNO/BN is the culprit and the KDN investagation is politically motivated against the opposition and trying to force SPR to bow to UMNO/BN needs.
